Drägerwerk AG, Lübeck, is a worldwide leading Medical and Safety technology corporation. It emerged from a small factory, founded in 1889, manufacturing pressure reducers or valves.

The current product range of Dräger Medical encompasses complete anaesthesia workstation systems, ventilators and incubators, and also system solutions and services for in-hospital Critical Care and HomeCare. Industrial workers, firefighters and miners depend on Dräger Safety's hazard management systems in the areas of Personal Protection Technology or Gas Detection Systems.

The requirements
An increased global alignment and new global applications meant that Drägerwerk AG, Dräger Medical and Dräger Safety needed a high-performance network with access at any time.
